She has supported community-focused programs across South Asia and the United States, strengthening international NGOs and advancing sustainability initiatives within both nonprofit organizations and early-stage technology companies.
Aruni’s nonprofit experience includes co-founding an education- and nutrition-focused NGO in Sri Lanka, where she led strategic planning, fundraising, stakeholder partnerships, and daily operations to expand programs for children and women. Her work reflects a commitment to building systems that enhance equity, access, and long-term organizational resilience.
Aruni holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, where she specialized in sustainability and strategic planning. She is passionate about combining her graduate training with her hands-on experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and program development to help social-impact organizations scale their capabilities through data-driven and thoughtful strategy.
